After an initial self-taught training in classical piano and jazz, Chloé Cailleton entered the Conservatoire de Nantes and then the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris.
Her many collaborations (Ricardo Del Fra, Stéphane Belmondo, Baptiste Trotignon, Glenn Ferris, Emmanuel Bex, Andy Emler, Alain Jean Marie, Pierre de Bethmann, Leila Olivesi... ), her contribution to the Voice Messengers for ten years, to the group Zalindê as percussionist, or her recent participations in the Orchestre National de Jazz, alongside Alban Darche, (Yolk, Le Gros Cube), in the projects of the Compagnie Frasques (Goodbye Love, SuperJazzWomen, Protest Song), and finally in the circus company Allégorie make Chloé Cailleton a free electron, evolving in the musical and multi-artistic field.
Leading several projects at once (Trio Paloma, Milo Mou Kokkino, Quart d'Heure Américain), she founded the collective La Spatule with a dozen artists from Nantes. Drawing her inspiration from poetry, she continues to write song lyrics, collaborating with other authors and composers, and is passionate about learning foreign languages through their musical traditions and folk songs.
She currently teaches singing at the Ecole de Musique de St Sébastien sur Loire, and holds the Certificat d'Aptitude Jazz. In addition to her ongoing involvement in the world of jazz, she leads a number of cultural action projects in collaboration with establishments and institutions (choir direction, masterclasses, training courses, musical theater), anchored in the wider Nantes area. She also trains student singers at the Centre des Musiques Didier Lockwood and trainees at the Jazz in Marciac and Festijazz festivals in St Cézaire sur Siagne.
She is awarded the Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres in 2021.
